God's Blessing

I was saving my money to buy new futsal shoes. I need one cause my football boots are spoiled so badly, and my tennis shoes are so bulky for futsal. Plus, I need a lighter shoes for floorball. So, I was saving my money...week by week, put it in my piggy bank(not really, it's just a box) and there I have it. Enough for me to spend.

But there was one Sunday in youth, when pastor Victor came to share. He shares about how we would give our all for God, and believe in Him. Pastor Victor also shared his experience when God asked him to stop taking allowances from the church and just trust in him, even though many bills are still left unpaid.

Guess what, a friend of his invited him for lunch and give him all the money Pastor Victor needs for his daily needs. The friends used his money that he saved for modelling courses and gave it all for the pastor, without any favours.

The story and his sharing really convicted me. I took up the altar call and he prayed for me.He told me that if God also wants us to have good things, but if he calls upon us to give our all, he will bless us even more.

I was somehow, at peace. Even though I may not have my boots, but, somehow I felt it doesn't really matter if God needs it.

But in the end, I did get my boots. Did God actually called me before I bought, but I did not listen? I was puzzled.

Turns out, this was indeed his blessing. When I told my mum that I want to buy a set of sports jersey with my own money. She paid the jersey for me, saying it is a Christmas gift.

I was shocked. Even though I could pay for it(and it was quite cheap really, around RM30+ for that standard), I was quite happy. Not only that, I even have new tennis shoes from my dad today! It was RM429 (phew!) but there's a 40% discount so it was around RM200.

All he ask was "Is it tight?" "Need a bigger size? That's all, no questions about "why I need it?" even though I can present my case as my old tennis shoes were 3 years old, and my brother has one already.

Well, for me, it was really a joyful week. And a lesson I learn is, if we are willing to give out our all when God calls us to, he will bless us one way or another. Sometimes by means we never expect.

AMEN! =)

CCC: Chin Peng>>> Communisn>>>Christ??

What am I thinking. How am I supposed to connect the dots altogether. Linking Chin Peng to Communism is alot more easier than failing your SPM. (Actually, with a blank paper, it's tempting to answer the paper, but hey, let's assume I'm stupid for that moment)

But from Communism to Chirst?? Here, on the former, it's known to be an radical ideology which believes there is no God. And on the latter, he's the "Way, the Truth and the Life"

Actually, it's possible. Let me start with Chin Peng. If many of you had actually look through the new(and boring) version History Textbook, he is one of the main leaders who help form Malayan Communist Party. He is also viewed as one of the guys who call the shots in killing people, destroy property and taking M&M's from babies.

http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/6381523/2/istockphoto_6381523-taking-candy-away-from-a-baby.jpg
(Communist's favourite pastime)

So anyway, as the apparently interesting and important (not if you decide to do at least something meaningful) story goes along, CMP got kicked in the butt as many times as Manchester United winning EPL and the rest is history. Literally. Chin Peng and his "brothers in arm" in the party were sidelined from development (which is still going on until today, albeit at an slower pace), they were forced to disband and consequently, Malaysia became.....Malaysia?

(Yeah...very Malaysian-like)

Anyway, communism 0, Democracy 1. So why does many people during that time embrace the Alliance's concept of democracy? It could very well be the fact that communism didn't take the right step in promoting communism properly. As you all knows, CMP was linked with several striker from workers, train crash, assaults on plantation by innocent farmers and many more cruel acts. They broke the first rule when it comes to promoting an ideology: Never, ever disrupt the lives of people even if you intent to give the same thing to them.

Democracy was also seen as a shining light during those bleak ages. The opportunity to have a say in the goverment, vote the people to represent you to voice out the needs of the people, education for all and most importantly the ability to govern the country independently. Actually, some of these aims were also part of the CMP's agenda, but they don't have a proper institution, and most importantly, the support of the British Empire.

http://www.sonofthesouth.net/uncle-sam/images/britannia.jpg
(Malaysia: Meet my elder brother and my step-sister, the drag queen with the beard)

But, I believe the very ideology Communist is pushing for, ironically, might be their undoing. You see, communism is based of the concept of sharing. During the dawn of communism, they fought for a classes society where every human is equal. This is also further advocated with the sharing of property. They also envisioned for "a free society with no division or alienation, where mankind is free from oppression and scarcity."

Now where did I heard this from? Hmmm...yes, the most unlikeliest source of all.....

THE BIBLE!!!

http://www.itiswrittenoceania.tv/images/bibleInfo003.jpg

If you all can refer to the book of Acts, the apostles of the Lord promoted sharing of property between the belivers. One fine example is Barnabas. He was a good man from Cyprus who sold all his property and gave ALL the profits to the poor. This can be said about the other believers, although they do not need to give away all the profits, they just need to tell the apostles the truth, something Annaias and Sapphira learned the hard way before their untimely death.

Infact, Jesis also strived for a kingdom where everyone is equal before God's eyes. And this is evident with the acceptance of Gentiles into the Kingdom of God. Now, they have all the privileges the Jews used to have with God. This is definitely good news for me and all my fellow friends who does not have a Father who looks like Elliot Yamin, or a brother like Adam Lambert!
http://jun1013.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/adam-lambert.jpg
(Frankly, I hate him. No more,no less)

So, why does Communism have the same concept with Christianity,to some extent, and yet fall into ruins just like the Berlin Wall which is well known to be a symbol of communist dictatorship?

I believe the answer is simple. They don't have Christ as the center of the household. If they don't have Christ as their leader, who are they serving?

It's money!! Money has always been the problem since people began to realize the barter system is obsolete. It is the "root of all evil" and Communism took a downturn after corruption tooks it's place in the communism hierarchy.

God also fixed the problem even before it got hold of the early church. When Annias and Sapphira tried to deceive the people into thinking they gave the whole lot for the poor, when they actually kept some of the profit, the Spirit came down on Peter and he condemned them to death.

See, I believe Communism is a decent concept ever conceived for the well-being of others. But because Christ was not in the center of communism, it will never flourish, and worse still, they will have a hard time hanging on to the very last thread of survival. And Yes, Democracy took over the world by storm and is viewed as alot of superior against Communism, but if they turn their backs away from Jesus Christ, I believe the Kingdom of God will come sooner than we allthought it would be.

Beauty

" This was the question I attempted in my English Paper 1 for SPM. Initially I wanted to try one question that was about long holidays for student. But I couldn't brainstorm for good ideas and put in many proverbs or bombastic words for that matter.

So I answered the one-word essay and this is what I wrote for the examinations, I think."

I always wonder why is there such a quote such as "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". Initially I disagree with this statement. Since when Beauty was such a bias thing? Isn't beauty supposed to be universal??

So here I am with my friend, sipping our English Tea. As we chatted among ourselves all the things we done during the holidays, suddenly my friend pointed out the artwork on our tea cups.

"I'm fascinated by the artwork on the cups. Don't you think it takes alot of talent and patience to come up with such details?" He commented.

"Well, I think it is a load of crap".

He was stunned. I must admit art isn't really my forte. It could be due to the fact that I never really love artwork that much.

After that, we payed our bills and left the shop, walking along the streets. Then out of a sudden, a lass walked pass by me, and what a sight that is. She had eyes like Sapphire and a figure that could rival that of Venus or even Megan Fox for that matter. But my friend just shrugged his shoulders, saying that she look more like a Drag Queen to him.

A drag queen? Come on! She is the girl of my dreams, even more so for many other people to be exact. He must have been from another planet or a lesbian to say that girl was a "Drag Queen".

"Now this my friend, is beauty". My friend then said.

"What? Who? Where?". As I look around, found nothing decent, let alone attractive.

" Here, my sister."

Her sister? He must be seriously out of this world. His sisters has so many freckles and pimples she would scare the living daylights out of Frankenstien! But I can't blame him, because he used to have a brother who recently just passed away. So it's a no-brainer why he treasured his sister so much.

After they had a brief chat, she left us and walked towards the town mall. Apparently she is going to the mall with her friends.

" Isn't she a beauty?" My friend asked.

Okay, so what am I supposed to say? I'm now caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.

" She's.....different today". I spoke with a smile

My friend smiled back at me, I hoped it wasn't sarcastic as mine. So after that, we parted ways. He had to buy some groceries for his mother while I walked back alone, after I take a detour around a lake.

As I walked along,I sat on a stone bench. It was quite clean so I lied down for a moment. I can't help but notice the evening scenery. The sun is descending, along with it came rays of orange painted on a purple canvas. The birds are flying, drifting through the breeze that pass by me.I closed my eyes and ponder back on my memories. Then something stopped me.

"Mum, can we go back now? This place is boring". A child whined.

"Dear Jimmy, we will go home soon. Okay?"

The mum and child then walked away. Then I thought to myself,"Indeed, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder".

SPM!

So this is it, in two days time it'll be THE exam I have been studying and working on since DAY 1 in form 1. It is the only sensible reason (albeit by a small margin) of why students in the Malaysian Education system have been blind bulls for almost our lives.

The waiting is already starting to get on me, because I don't want my parents, friends and teachers who have taught us tirelessly ( most of them anyway) till they sweat drops of blood. And most important of all, I don't want to let down God.

Sure, he'll know what I will get for my SPM because he "was,is and is to come", but I think I wouldn't want to ask what I get for SPM. I think I'll find it out myself.....

So, all the best to the SPM candidates, and may all the luck of the world be with you. And together we can survive the ordeal together!

SPM, here we come!!

7 Days....and it's not enough! (For some of us anyway)

Gosh, with just one look and it's Day 1 for SPM. When I first started school this year, it looked like SPM will never, ever come. Now it seems like most of us wish it'll never come.

I never intend to spoil anyone's day (if it isn't spoiled) and announce that SPM will start in 7 MORE DAYS. But behind all the expectations and "excitements" that happens around this time of the year, I began to realize that my days of White uniforms and cheap slacks are numbered...and it's no double-digit integer.

When I was in Standard in SRJK(C) Chong Cheng. We've been celebrating once UPSR was over. And when the final day in my primary school was going to end. Many of us began to shed tears, cause we may never meet again...I had one friend who was so sad he was bitter in his heart, and kicking his bicycle many times-- And that friend was a really good friend.

As I look back at my Hamid Khan school life, it was enjoyable.I faced many setbacks,(some because of my wrongdoings) and disspoinments, in fact there were many things I wished I could have done to make a difference or have a good experience. It can be from forgetting to buy a share in the "Ko-Operasi" to being a better CF leader, or even trying to be a Warden for a while.

Mind you, I still don't like my school's prefects. It's not because they have to enforce the laws, the problem I have with them is that they sometimes break the laws....heck I can say some of them are worse than the ordinary schoolmates. Yes, there all a few Good Apples in the body but then again....they are the minority. I still remember one time I go against one prefect (who was a senior) for not asking some people to line up while he hold us up.

It is these moments that define one's school life. Now I'm going to face the same thing all over again. This time, it'll definitely be the last.

Unless I don't study in Form 6 though.

The last BK lessons?

Today was the last of my Bible Knowledge(BK) lessons for the year. It'll probably be my last one. Ever.

Throughout my one and a half year of studying God's word for exams(I came in quite late in 2008) I have learn more about the Gospel and actually took time to read Acts. Before that, I never ever read or even look through Acts. I didn't know about Luke, I didn't know that Paul was against Christianity in the first place or that Acts was written by Luke in the first place at all.

But by studying BK, I have gain more knowledge of God's word and met great friends. I even have a wonderful teacher who help me enjoy BK and taught us very well.

However, what I fear is that my batch or even the BK candidates of 2009 will be last. You see the government has set a quota of subjects each students can take and that is 10. Well, some of you might think that for National school students, it will be okay for them to drop English for Science and Technology(EST) for BK. But how about the secular schools? They are required to sit for Chinese exams. (Taking Chinese schools as an example)

What's ironic is that Islam-related subjects are exempted from this ruling. True, I supposed their Principe is that the more religious paper you take, the more merit you'll get when you meet God. (I'm giving an presumption based on the ruling for Islam papers)

Well, I do agree that Religion and Education should not be clashed together, so it's good that Islam students (or anyone for that matter) can take as many Islam-related papers as they want. But why can't BK be given the same exemption. Shouldn't Form 4 BK candidates be given the luxury to choose whether they want to take BK or not? It appears that many of us wouldn't have any choice at all....

Paul once wrote that "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day"(2 Tim 4:7-8). I believe BK exams are not "THE" only race every Christians must race and compete( otherwise many people couldn't have return to the Lord), but the ruling has severe implications not only to Christians, but many people as well. They are people who are not Christians that even take BK as an exam subject just for an extra A. This is an indirect way of spreading the Gospel to those people because the Gospel is to be known "to the ends of the world" (Acts 1:8)

Now, it seems, people like us have one race we can never enter in our lives. Ever.

Untitled.......for now.

I'm off to a BBQ later this evening. It's kinda like a farewell for the form 5's for two years of hard work and a year of preparations for the form 4's. Hopefully I can be there earlier to help up and possibly get the first taste of what is to come. ;)

Anyway, school has been relatively quiet these few days. And I mean it literally. Attendances has been predictably very low, and although the HM will do something about it, I doubt any of the "soon-to-be" school leavers will pay a single attention to her.

We'll see about that, but I must admit I like a smaller class. It's easier for me to do my studies this way. But oh well, it's the school's calling. They have to execute power to show they are still relevant and mean business to the students. Let's hope they are not like our National Football Team with all the teeth broken from all the whipping they get playing against other lesser teans. What tigers.....

Post-Trials Fun; Pre-SPM preparations

I'm really sorry for not updating for such a long time! Gosh, never had ample time for blogging.

Now, my trial exams are over! Got all the results, pretty decent I suppose. So what's a student gotta do? Prepare for SPM!

This may seem ironic for an average student, but I enjoy going to school now. Alot of my classmates are not attending school (apparently they want to study at home), and attendance is--at times-- an all-time low. Except for some cases where miraculously most students will turn up on a certain day ( 28/37) and days where 5S1 won't even turn up. (10/37)

As for me? I'm forced to go to school most of the time. It's really hard for me to get permission to skip school. First, I have to go through my mum, the I have to go through my dad who is alot harder to convince. So I plan out when I decide to skip school provided I have enough reasons that are plausible for me to sleep in in my bedroom.

But even if I have to go to school, I still enjoy it. At times, me and my friends will study in the physics lab cause Pn. Lim is so gracious to let us study there. It's alot more peaceful, conductive and a cleaner place for me to do some exercise or even the occasional chit-chat among us.

I'll TRY to blog as often as I can, so stay tune!

Unneccessary Maths Equation + Good for Nothing Rapper = This Random Post

My days at school will start in about 13 hours time and to help all of us get out of the holiday mood, it will be our last day of trials.

And as you all would probably know, it will be the Add Maths paper. It has been the most hyped up topic in our class cause :

1) It's THE subject to score(and fail) in science stream SMK Hamid Khan
2) We have the whole week of holidays to study
3) A s0-called "Ninja" teach us---at "Ninja" speed.

So,I revised my paper and went over the Perak trial paper for 2008. So I guess I'm pretty pumped up for the exam. I think.

+-=+-==-+=-+=-+=-+=-+=-+=-+
(Sorry, I can't think of any other symbol after dealing with them for so,so, long)

Anyway, I'll be sharing on my thoughts on the "Good for Nothing Rapper", and for the moment, it's none other than the "Douche Bag of the year"---Kanye West

http://www.purepoponline.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/kanye_west1.jpg
(He couldn't be pictured better)

If you all haven't heard recently, while Taylor Swift was making her acceptance speech for winning the "Best Female Video" for "You Belong with Me"(which is a craze among my peers at the moment). Kanye....you know what, this dude doesn't even deserved to be referred by his name. I'll substitute it with...
http://blogs.riverfronttimes.com/therundown/douche_bag1.jpg
(In recognition for his moronic rationality)

Okay back to the point, so as Mr.Douche-bag went on the stage and grabbed the microphone and said that he thinks Beyonce has "one of the best videos of all time". This shocked Beyonce and Taylor Swift more so, Mr. Douche-bag was booed off my the crowd and was removed from the remainder of the show.

Despite many apologies, he knows what happened on that night will surely tarnish his already screwed up reputation. I mean, any man in the right mind wouldn't do suck a stunt and it has already received condemnation from many celebrities and even him.

You know, I think this is his publicity stunt cause he's career is at mediocre at best . Look at him, he has a music video that had a pornstar(Touch the Sky), a song that "borrowed" tunes from two helmet-wearing guys(Stronger) and a song with T.I. that is surpassed by an American Idol's version.(Heartless)

But he isn't a stranger to dissing fellow artistes in public. Remember the last incident where he wasn't happy about getting the "Video of the Year" for "Touch the Sky"? He thinks that his video should win cause it has:

1) A Pornstar
2) He flying in rockets
3) Refer to 1 and 2.

But I have to admit that these days, sex+explosion is the "in" thing right now. Just look at Transformers.

http://www.hippopress.com/070705/FILM_Transformers.jpghttp://chandrawijaya.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/megan-fox-in-transformers2.jpg
(Flawless formula, what can go wrong?)

In the end, all the best to Taylor Swift just for being Taylor Swift and a slap on the face for Mr. Douchebag, although some ass-spanking on him would be good too. But let us not go overboard, I do think Mr. Douche-bag should deserved an award for all the crap he has been giving to all of us.

(Oh, this is the Kanye West award, isnt it?-CavalierX)

Enough said, good bye!

Raya Holiday

I was supposed to finish off my trials exam by this week, but no...the government had to give an impromptu holiday for all of us. Now I have to wait for one more week just to finish off my Add Maths paper.

So, to kill of time, I decided to reinstall Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault. It was quite an old game that I used to play often, but as time goes on, it got shelved. Out of boredom, my bulb just light on and I dug out old games I used to play often.(very often)

Until then, happy holidays!

Hardy harr harr..

(Taken from Cracked.com)
I just can't help but laugh at some of the captions for these pictures:

Warning- hanging w/ frat boys may cause rectal bleeding.

You know, it isn't right when the one dressed as a duck is the manliest guy in the group.

That's actually just one Flash trying out several different pick-up approaches at once.

This isn't what I meant by flash mob.

He's still a lot better than Nickleback.

You should see him with the piano.

It's pretty clear what PacMan thinks of Minesweeper.

This must be what the Mayans were talking about

They may look swedish but I'm sure they were made in China

At least one of them must have been your favourite. Which is it?

Trials

Tomorrow will be the day the majority of SPM candidates will be having their trial exams(With the exception of CGL of course). Some slightly later, some will start after today.

And it would be the inevitable period where people will mourn or groan aloud that they can't do it, will fail their subjects badly and daa dee daa dee daa...

I mean, if they really want to spend their time groaning, they could save their tears and their whining for the economy, global warming, political chaos or even the burial of MJ.

http://scrapetv.com/News/News%20Pages/Entertainment/images-3/michael-jackson-goofy.jpg
(Boohoo, I'm dead)

Back to the topic, while some starts groaning about their exams, some come out with "equations" that justify why students fail in exams. Ever heard of the list of things people do in a lifetime and how much time each of those chores took? (e.g. Talking - 4 Days) and then they subtract an average life span with all their chores which leaves studying into 0.

Okay, I admit I was amused by that. But it does not justify those who work hard for their results and earned 8A's or more. Some to the extent of 20. Are you trying to suggest that those who study so hard that they would leave out their daily chores? You think these people are zombies???

http://laughingsquid.com/wp-content/uploads/zombies_sf_6.jpg
(Pictured: SPM top scorers)

You could say that she took multiple subjects related to her faith(that is Islam) and that is the reason she could achieve so many A's. But then again, 20 subjects are tiring enough, not to mention the papers each subject consist of. So, applause to this girl who is very lucky just to have a plate of rice on her table.

At the end of the day, everyone can do well in their studies. Some may not be academically talented, but they can still earn a decent score. As for me, all I want is that I have the assurance that I done well and that "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."- 2 timothy 4.7

So, study without fail cause you will fail without study. (I hope I can copyright this phrase)

Until next time.

My favourite MJ songs

Today, the King of Pop will finally be laid to rest in a cemetary.(duh) Well, no one can deny his impact not only to the music world but in everyone's life. He was one of the pioneer's of crossing genre, moonwalk, robot-dance and even made MTV to what it is today.

So, here are some of my favourite MJ songs :

Billie Jean (Thriller) :

Dirty Diana (Bad) :

Stranger in Moscow (HIStory) :

Blood on the Dance Floor(HIStroy) :

You Rock My World (Invicinble) :

GOD- Great on Degrading.

Yesterday while I was at my church's main service, the youth's were going to present an item. The pastor's son, Jeremy had written a song "In This Land" and it was a great song. Not less nor more.

But what I want to give you a glimpse of our society isn't found in the song, rather it was the people who were seating behind me. One, in fact there's two of them, were talking among themselves and wondered who was the guy who presented that item. Then one of them said it was Pastor's Kok Aun's son.

"OH MY GOD!!! It is him!! Wow, MY GOD, he has grown so tall".

"Yeah, he even sounds and act like his father, OH MY GOD."

Great, now people are using God's name in vain not only in public, but in his Sanctuary??? God's name is holy, it is his name that commanded evil spirits out of people, it is his name that the lame can walk, the deaf can hear and people are saved to meet him in heaven. All because of his holy name.

Did you know? Back in the times of Ancient Israel, anyone who uses God's name in vain will be punished....to death by stoning. Yes, that is how serious the offence was. And now people are beginning to swear by God's name and go 'Oh My God' when something big happens. OMG (Pun intended)

The reason these people are not condemned to stoning these days is because :

1) By God's grace he endures our sin
2) Stoning is so old-fashioned compared to electric chairs or death injection
3) There's no more stones around cause it's been used to construct new churches without any regard for the people's welfare.

And my church is building a new church.....beside our old one (if you don't consider the AIA building). Pretty much like building a nuclear reactor beside one. One is enough to impact one's neighborhood, two will likely create a rivalry between both churches to see who can 'harvest' more.

Back to the topic, it isn't cool to use God's name in vain as opposed to the movies.(Sometimes I wonder when will it go passe). The least you could do is "Oh My Goodness", but I don't think God's goodness should also be taken lightly. Right?

Blogging Tips

I received an email from my mum which contains an useful link from those who aspire to be bloggers or have already blogged since they learn how to type.Unsurprisingly, I'm one of the latter and being the curious lot, I checked out the link.

Turns out, my bandwidth did not go to waste. In this particular link, the author says that blogs are not essential to everyone. I repeat: IT's NOT ESSENTIAL TO EVRYONE. It really gave me a clearer picture on this blogging trend as I see too many people starting one and yet stop posting for about a couple of weeks. Just as what an old chinese adage:半途而废 (literally meaning that you progress halfway before wasting all the effort).

This is because not everyone wants to reveal what are they doing their whole life. They also won't enjoy Twitter or even Plurk. So what the author is trying to say is : If you have something to say to the internet community, then blog; If not, forget about it

But some of the tips are a bit way too much for me to handle. 3 posts per day? I admit I don't have the capacity to brain storm effectively, let alone 3 blog post per day. My aim for now is to blog at least twice 2 day. Maybe more depending on my time, my mood and whether my mum decided that I should earn a living by blogging.

Besides that, I'm not really a photo blogger, so the link for cropping photos in one go is maybe not that necessary for me yet. Perhaps in the future? Maybe. So I better save the link.

"Draft ideas as they happen." Now that is something I would like to point out. I agree that the best ideas or inspiration doesn't necessarily comes when facing the desktop(or your laptop for that matter). Ideas can come from everywhere, from Proms to Short stories(e.g. the Pearl) or even cockroaches. Yeah, it's true. My friend wrote about it and my oh my it gave me some chuckles.

Well, you can visit the link at the intro to learn more about this blogging tips. And now, I'm gonna cancel my nuffnag from my blog cause:

1) I don't need to increase my traffic and destroy the purpose I blog.
2) I doubt I can earn money from nuffnag for poor traffic
3) Screw nuffnag.

Happy Holidays.

And here he goes complaining again....

Carloz Tevez claimed that Fergie, the current manager of Manchester United is "scared" of the new and supposedly "improved" Manchester City squad.

First of all, he says that he isn't satisfied that he doesn't get as much league appearances as Dimitar Berbatov and Wayne Rooney, who as also fellow strikers. First of all, Tevez isn't as good as those two as he "thinks" he is. Besides that, can't he just learn the art of being a "super-sub" just like Solksjaer during the 90's and early 2000's? Solksjaer, for your information is the one who clinched the UEFA champions league for the Red Devils, and thus the season that is Treble 99.

http://www.manutdfc.org/images/solksjaer_goal.jpghttp://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Football/Pix/pictures/2009/6/30/1246324197367/Carlos-Tevez-001.jpg
(Two babyfaces, except one has a CL medal while the other whines about everything)

If only Carlos Tevez had taken the initiatif to take up that role and possibly be the centre stage of the matches he will be playing. And then, he decided to snub a deal from Manchester United and went to Manchester City, the derby rivals. It's like rejecting a Mercedes for a Kancil.

http://www.casanovacars.com/entry_images/0706/13/mercedes-slr-722-edition.jpghttps://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQYnSkyTunEdnVPfVFDX4TyCnZjTXYPubcNSYqze4dcw1wwPQBnRJqz3pPc7Ab7hmhFX5JDFIrPzpaeSAXhutJgqx1bMeigiM247ms6II2J0QVXB0HAsbOs9wYuWW2fCnkJL_1wAHTIMY/s400/Perodua_kancil.jpg
(It isn't much of a hard discision right?)

Which brings me to my next point. Aepparently Carlos Tevez snubbed a move to Liverpool and choose City because of "Emotional Reasons", stating that it would do less damage to the fans of Man. United. Okay Tevez, how is switching to a club whose rivalry streches way longer than that of Liverppol or possibly his score sheet, justified? It doesn't make sense. The problem with Manchester City is their record of winning titles(or rather the lack of it).If he says switching to Manchester City raises a higher chance of European glory, he clearly dismiss the fact that the last time they won an European cup was 39 years ago. And the last domestic glory? 6 years later.

On the contrary, Liverpool have won the Champions Leagues in 2005 and they won the FA cup the following year. I'm not suggesting that I like Liverpool, but if I have a choice, I'll know who I'll choose.

Despite that, Tevez is still adamant on moving to City. And almost everyone(except himself) knows that the sole reason he moved to Manchester City is because of the high wage he will receive while donning the light blue shirt on the field, not to mention the newly purchased Barry,Robinho and Adebayor who too, came because their eyeballs are shinning british currency all over them.

I can go on and on about Tevez's rants on Fergie, but I believe he is beginning to realize that he went overboard. See, if he stopped complaining to the press about his disastrous relationship with Fergie, he could probably pulled off the greatest hoax and gain sympathy from the Red Devils fan. See, the fans have very high regard of him and pressured Alex Ferguson to sign him on a permanent deal. If Tevez just stop the noise and proceeded to sign for Manchester City, Fergie will get the very "hairdryer treatment" he is infamous for from the fans.

But Tevez went overboard and ironically, the fans who adored Tevez so dearly is beggining to hate him for criticizing Ferguson. And we all know who is the victor at the end of the day. Just look at Beckham or Van Nistelrooy.

http://www.latimes.com/media/photo/2009-08/48679831.jpeg
(Believe me, he has worser moments than that)

And now we have Tevez claiming that Ferguson is scared of the new Manchester City squad ahead of their derby match which will surely excite both sides of Manchester. If that's not enough, he continues by saying that Mark "Sparky" Hughes, the manager of City is a better manager cause "he has been a football player so there is a big difference in the way he treats each player."

Now I'll probably show the middle finger to Tevez for this one. Ferguson was a striker in Aberdeen during the 60's (i think) and mind you, he scores goals. Lots of them. Probably more than Tevez could in 10 cycles of his lifetime. And please, guess where did Mark Hughes rise to fame? Manchester United. Who was the gaffer? Ferguson.

So, at the end of the day. Tevez is screwed. He talks to much, is as dangerous in front of goal as my old teddy bears and worse of all, he doesn't know it. I'll hope he spends time getting used to the bench, cause he'll have a hard time getting a place on the starting XI with 9 strikers in Manchester City. I'm not kidding.

Girls Generation - Gee

WL introduced to me this video. Pick yours, you'll be spoiled for choices. :D

My favourites are:

The one with the green jacket and aviation forage cap (1.22), the one with the sun glasses on her head with pink feathers all around. (2.01-2.10) . The girl in 2.18 (in my opinion) has better vocals compared to the others. The one singing in (2.42) and (2.53) isn't quite bad too.

At least I now know that WL "kua cha bo" ( Attraced to girls). Progress is the word. XD

A New World Survey

Got this from an email:

NEW WORLD SURVEY

Last month a world-wide Phone survey was conducted by the UN. The only question asked was:-

"Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"

The survey was a huge failure because of the following:

In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant.

In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant.

In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant.

In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant.

In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant.
In South America they didn't know what "please" meant.

In the US they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant.

And Finally...........................

In Australia they hung up because they couldn't understand the Indian accent.

I like the punchline. I never know that the UN's voice is someone born in the streets of Madras....or Kampung Buah Pala.

I think if Malaysians were to fit in the survey. I think we won't understand what "give" means. The irony of this is so depressing cause Malaysians are thought to be very generous, and yet we crowd around an accident scene cause we like to "jaga tepi kain orang" without any regards of the road users who maybe have something more urgent errands to take care of rather than some dead man who has a " Lisen Kopi".

2 cents of my thoughts

Jennie* : Hey there.

Aaron : Yeah?

Jennie : Do you have Dixon's Handphone number? Can you give u me please?

Aaron : XXX-XXXXXXX (don't bother trying, it's not a pornography hotline)

Jennie : Thx.

Aaron : So how are you?

Jennie : I'm fine. Gtg. Bye.

Aaron : ...

*Actual name not revealed to avoid backstabbing

I been through this scenario before, and I lament to myself, "WHY OH WHY SUCH PEOPLE EXIST??". They take people for granted, never try to be a friend, and yet suddenly calls you or talk to you in msn just because they need help. And after that they just say a bloody 'goodbye' and be strangers to you.

I have a scout senior who tells me of such people. In his case, he said some people will suddenly ask you for transport back home out of nowhere. And the thing is, these people never even bother knowing you, let alone talk to you.

See, this are what I call people who take advantage of you. When they need something and if all else fails, they will find you. Thickening their face to ask you to help them as if you been their BFF forever. That is why if I have to say out one type of attitude I can never tolerate, it is this.

*******************

In another story, I kinda like this girl. But everytime I try to..let's just say, compliment her or what's that word... 'pikat'?? She just shrugs it off. I mean, I don't know whether she likes it, or simply don't bother at all.

My friend(who is a close friend of that girl) says that that's her usual reaction cause she's an introvert. But, despite the fact I can understand the rationality behind her action. I just can't keep it on.I'm the kind of person that expects to see results, and prefably something prominent and not obscure. That's why I doubting myself on holding on until I'm done with my last exam(SPM).

I seriously need help, anyone? I need God help me cause I know, He cares for me and he doesn't want me to see me suffer. If only I can see the answer for myself. Perhaps he may send someone who can give me advice? I'll just have to wait.....and see.

Weird Websites

"For the fun of it anyway". That's what I tell people. Random browsing of websites can(and will) give you a more wider view of the world, sometimes a tad TOO clear. Some of it range from the weird and funny to those that are...sinister is word perhaps??

EMO KIDS: For EMO____(place any object here)

http://www.luv-emo.com/

What is the site dedicated to:

Justifying EMO is a kind of lifestyle that everyone on this world should embrace. It even dedicated webpages to defend kids who are labelled as EMO.(It can be seen in the main page, refer to EMO KIDS)

Seeing the website, it makes me feel sad. How pitiful that those EMO jerks have to set up a website to spread their cultural and protect their long-gone integrity.

It's like a shopping mall. You have the hairstyle, clothes, pictures, makeups and wallpapers, or if you are like those who like literature, there's the poetry, quiz and even jokes. Jokes??? And emo???? How contradicting. It's like putting Anwar & Kit Siang together to have Milo Ais in my school canteen.

Benefits:

Seriously, my friends in school could do a whole lot better than what these monkeys can come up with. Better have a trip to Queensbay to undertstand EMO culture. Close Up. http://www.luv-emo.com/images/emowallpaper/emowallpaper12.jpg
(Their message: EMO is good. Reality: I'm a moron and I know it, just that I don't want to admit it.

STORM FRONT : White Nationalist Community

http://www.stormfront.org/forum/

What is the site dedicated to:

Idolizing Nazi's and screwing Jewish people all the way. I'm not kidding. There's even a thread in the forum that reads : " The White Nationalist Field Manual."
http://mburgan.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/nazi-propaganda.jpg
(What the cover would probably be like)

As I browse through their threads, some of it are just plain stupid. There's even a "Poetry" section which serves to "Expand your vocabulary and discover the secrets of our language." I even found one thread which reads "Over hyped Jewish Actors".

Any Benefits?( No, seriously)

If you plan to rise up against humanity and revive the Nazi propaganda, this would be the ideal site for you. But seriously, there are better things to do like cap Nazi Soldiers heads in "Call of Duty", sewing or even watching paint dry.

By the way, I found out that Adam Sandler is a jew.

( I play with Remote Controllers just for the fun of it, so slap me in the face)

And my favourite of all.....

CRACKED!!!! America's only Humour and Video Site Since 1958.

http://www.cracked.com/

What is the site dedicated to:

Giving people with nothing to do on the internet something to read about. (That's me!!!)

I stumbled unto this website while reseaching for my debate competition (which we lost spectacularly) and honestly I enjoy reading their articles. Some of the articles are in fact facts that really shed light on the events of the world. I also admire some of the photoshop-ing skills of some of the readers of the website.

http://www.mediabistro.com/fishbowlny/original/cracked_relaunch.jpg
(One of their latest magazine, some say the worst)

But be warned, some the articles that are published are, although are reinforced with legitimate sources to back up their facts, are presented in quite an unconventional way.I leave your imagination do the rest of the job.

Benefits?

I can only think of one. None. It's a retarded website for pete's sake. The articles are really there just to make someone laugh or brighten their day. But you should give it a try and read some of the articles and videos posted, it's worth your bandwidth.

**********

Now please be reminded I do not intend to :

1) Promote EMO culture
2) Patronize Nazism
3) or even making fun of Cracked.

I just hope that my readers will have a fun time browsing through websites that helps make the world a more interesting place to live in. Ironically, I'm starting to get scared of the internet. And for good reasons.

What I want to say.

It has been a week since I updated my blog. Nothing much has happened besides the Balik Pulau Scrabble competition. We lost out badly.

Overall.we won 4th placing. A bad record when compared to last year when we were champions. All I can take as a consolation is that this year SGGS and CLHS entered and that's why it was tough for us to win. =(

Anyway, I got an idea from my friend that since my blog link is "Irony Coast",why don't I try putting the word "ironicallly" or it's root word "irony" in all my blog posting?

Can it be done?

A Review: Biology Form 5 Textbook

Surprisingly, I actually managed to read the whole textbook for the first time! And well, I thought some of you might have a opinion of the book somewhere in a place call the internet but I couldn't find one that is honestly, honest. So here I am trying to share my views on this free* book compliments from the Malaysian Government and despite my lack of Book Critic credentials, experience let alone recognition--- I'll do one just for the sake of fun.

*Taxpayers money

http://bibliothecary.squarespace.com/storage/me4.jpg
(first image that popped out for "book reviewer" courtesy of Google)

The book starts of with acknowledges to the people who contributed to the book, then the contents and message from the government...much like a Form 1 folio. Geez, did they refer to their folios as a reference for a SPM quality book? The irony..

Now the book is essentially a part of a 5-part episode of "Science" series in secondary level. This biology book is actually a spin-off title that started from "Biology Form4" textbook. However, more details of the plot is found in this book that expands the stories found in the previous 4 books.

For example, in the first chapter(Transport), we learn more one of the most important characters throughout the series which is "Red Blood Cell" & "White Blood Cells". In this book, we learn the different names they are referred to and not only that, the sub characters that are part of them(Think Monocyte,Basophil for Red Blood Cell). Not only that, we learned more about another character which has a very 'emo' name that is"Heart" and this book explains more on the chracteristics of the character and clarify that "Heart" is indeed not an 'emo'.

(Don't touch me or I'll cut my wrist to bleed to death!)

In a gist, the first chapter of this book has done well to explain more on those popular characters found in the previous book. Good start.

Not the 2nd chapter. Apparently the 2nd chapter(Locomotion and Support) is a totally story altogether and is a short story itself. Here, we learn about bones, bones and bones. That's it. It's about as relevant to my aspiration as a box of matches on the moon. And if you are thinking the chapter is all about the television series, it's not.

http://asiandramaddict.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/bones_03_poster_01.jpg
(Not found in the chapter. Sorry)

But as readers continue on with the 3rd chapter, you find that the previous chapter sets the prologue for it. Apparently the government is trying to do is convince us that chapter 2 is linked with chapter 3. Bad plot settings, they might as well combined the whole chapters in the book and make a Star Wars series out of it.

http://www.dan-dare.org/Dan%20Saber/StarWarsWallpaper800.jpg
(The next proposed Biology syallabus)

But we are introduced back a sadly obsucre character found in "Science Form 3" textbook. That is the nerve cell. And it has a cooler(but more geekeir) name---Neurone. And now the character is also expanded with 3 more sub characters, the Affrent Neurone, Efferent Neurone and Interneurone. We also get a glimpse of the setting which the story takes place which is in the Spinal Cord. If you don't have time to read all the chapters, read this one. It's worth your time you allocate for "ponteng".

We learn another group of characters which are in a organization called "hormones". They are bascially the "Power Rangers" of our body and in this book they are explained thoroughtly and dare I say it, they are cool!

http://aboutheroes.com/Power-Rangers200-thumb-285x247.jpg
(Imagine them as hormones, but a lot less geekier and ridicolous)

Okay, now this is the part everyone has been waiting for since "Science Form 4" the more exciting, but not less controvesial chapter---Reproduction.

I must say the authors of this book really knows to sell their book.(Although it was given free* by goverment) Not only that expand more on the plot found in "Sciene Form3", but they dedicated an arc, which consist of 3 chapters!!!

I'll sum up the 3 chapters dedicated to sex. In chapter 4, we learn a little bit* more on how menstrual cycle works, how the two lovely character called "sperm" and "ovum" meet and their origins.

*Ten pages

http://backseatcuddler.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/twilight-movie-poster.jpg
(I'm not saying anything)

In the next chapter, the readers will be enthralled by the "after" part of birth. We learn about another character which is a pain in a butt to read that is "chromosome". Since we learn alot about them in the previous book, we now learn how they influence babies all around the world so that they won't look like the parents they are hate* for the rest of their lives.

*The writer isn't in any circumstances relating himself

"Everyone is Different"

That is how the last chapter (Variation) starts itself. Now the "chromosome" has a bigger part in this last chapter of the book. And surprisingly, I feel the way the last chapters sums up the arc of "Reproduction" and not to reveal too many details is really a great techinique of ending the story. The readers are left to wonder how will "choromosome" end up after the book and it's adventures later on in life. Actually, there are canon's of reproduction for plants but hey, learning about our own body is way more interesting.

So, I can say that the last 3 chapters of the book wants to give a clearer picture on the reproduction. From "Penis+Vagina= Babies" into "Male reproductive system+ female reproductive system=the next generation". Wait, isn't it the same? And more complicated??

Because of making this the whole process more complicated, I'll have to reconsider giving a good endorsement. Thus, after some considerations, I give "Biology Form 5" a 6 out of 10*.

*Now I just hope my bio teacher doesn't see this.

Friends for Sale Poem. =.='

In order to publicize myself so that everyone will "buy" me. I created an impromptu poem to attract people. Not sure they bought me because of the poem, or my good looks or just that they want to have fun buying me as their pet. =.=' I hope it's not the latter.

I use to play hide and seek,
but that does not mean I'm meek.
I'm crazy over Facebook,
it got me on the hook.

My price may be more than a triple,
but that's because of Mrs. Pineapple. (That's Tze Yen btw =P)
I write with right,I kick with my left,
I have a friend whom I call What-The-Ef!! (Wei Teng Wei Teng.... XD)

A man like you seems like a nice person,
but you can never be that handsome.
A crowd,You may gather with your beauty,
but compared to my mother, you're look like your ninety.

I'm have great friends whom I trust dearly,
cause I appreciate them truly.
So if you want to know them more closely,
BUY ME BUY ME with my heart I say sincerely!!

Scape Goat

I was doing my "Bible Study Fellowship"(BSF) work moments ago and this year we are studying about the life of Moses, in Egypt and out of it. Specifically, Exodus and right now, Leviticus.

So this week we were learning about the goat and sacrifices. Now, as I was doing the questions. One of the question reads:

10."Describe the symbolic ceremony for the removal of the sins that had been atoned by death"
(ref. Leviticus 16:20-28)

Apparently the process is somewhat unique, to say the least. Aaron(the high priest, not the one blogging about this when he's got better things to do) is to bring forth a live goat. But before this, he actually has to find 2 goats in the middle of the dessert. Thankfully he has the whole community of Israelites ready to help him cause they too, committed MANY sins.

(Their worst)

I'll bring you back to another part of Levitcus, 16:7-10.

"....Then he is to take the two goats and present them before he Lord at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. He is to cast lots for thre two goats-one lot for the Lord and another for the scapegoat.Aaron shall bring the goat whose lots falls to the Lord and sacrifice it for a sin offering. But the goat chosen by lot as a scapegoat shall be presented alive before the Lord to be used for making atonement by sending it into the desert as a scapegoat."

Some of the things I learn:

1) The method of casting lots for choosing a goat to kill is also used to elect the new disciple to replace Judas.
2)I never know sacrificing goats involves lucky draws, or for this matter, unlucky.
3) Either way, both goats are screwed.

Anyway, back to the topic. In essence, if Aaron the High Priest is to make a sin offering to God, he has to choose 2 goats. One of them gets a quick but brutal death whilst the other has oppurtunity to die with dignity, albeit a slow but painful one.

http://www.nigraphic.com/files/images/iran_desert_maranjab_1.jpg
(I'm sure one of them is still wandering here...)

I want to concentrate on the goat which will be spending it's last days in the desert. The whole process continues when Aaron is "to lay both hands" on the goat. Why? "To confess over it all the wickedness and rebellion of the Israelites-All their sin-and put them on the goat's head". Basically Aaron is placing all the wickedness of the Israelites unto the goat and thus, the goat will be used as a "scapegoat".After that, the goat will carry the sin's of the people ans sent to the dessert to rot and die.

http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/thumb_261/120880575814v4D2.jpg
(Death to you evil goat!)

If you haven't noticed, this is where the term "scapegoat" originated. It's amazing that the many of the phrases used nowadays originated from the bible. Think of "David vs Goliath", "Spare the rod, spoil the child" or even what we call our loved ones:"apple of my eye"! The word scapegoat is defined as "something or someone selected to bear blame for a calamity" (Wikipedia.com), very much the way the Israelites did for the goat.Ironically, the Israelites will be scapegoats themselves during the Holocaust period as they are blamed for Germany's poor economy during Post-WWI period.

But there is another scapegoat, this time on a bigger scale-Jesus-. He is hummanity scapegoat don't you think. We can't denied the fact that everyday, more and more people are doing bad things and thus, more sins are committed. Now, we can't atone for our sins anymore with goats because:

1) All goats are imperfect as they may have some defects, externally and/or internally.
2) There is too many people's sins for that poor little goat.
3) If more goats are slaughtered, they will become endangered species and WWF will be making a big news out of farm animals.

.
(not this one)

So that's why God gave us a solution. And it meant that His only son, Jesus Christ has to be a human being, live like a commoner,be a servant, live in the desert for 40 days(the irony),laughed at,got in disputee with religious authorities, and to top it all, DIE FOR US ON THE CROSS. He die in place of all of us on that cross that he has to carry by himself most of the time and nailed on it, 3 times. Moreover, he was flogged, spatted at,beaten, blashphemed and all of his disciples fled away. But the greatest comfort in the crucification is that Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead 3 days later!!! And that is why he has the power to atone for our sins cause he is sinless and he is alive to be a testimony to all of us and the Devil himself.

http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/thumb_233/1202265296v54Kl3.jpg
(Somewhere in there Jesus is laughing at Death and the Devil)

And all Jesus Christ ask from you and me is that we accpet him to be his Lord and Saviour. No other conditions, just a short prayer to acknowledge him for all the torture and ordeal he had to go through. Isn't that the best deal we can get in our lives?

REVO RECESS

Now I can safely say SMK Hamid Khan has kickstart it's Revo program. Our first activity has cleaning the class room.

First of all, I'm quite dissapointed that most of the committee were not able to make it. Some of them came to school, some had to do their scout and guide activities, while some went to QB because it was a matter of life and death.

Jokes aside, first of all we prayed and then we plan which row of classes we were going to do some cleaning. One of the REVO members who is the school's cleanliness prefect told us that 4K1 is the dirtiest class, so we decided to clean up all the form 4 classes.

I must say a very big "THANK YOU" to God because alot of people came....until I can't give all of them one REVO badge each.I'm missing one more, so if Pragash is reading this post...PLEASE SPARE ME A FEW MORE BADGES!!!I want to give it as a gift to encourage them to participate in this activity more often.

Nevertheless, credits must given to all the people who helped, even those who are not from SMK Hamid Khan's CF.You all doing something meaningful to the school, and slowly but surely, a change CAN and WILL happen in SMK Hamid Khan!!

God Bless.

Monthly Test (JULY)

I'm not kidding. I'm going to have SPM already, and yet my beloved school is giving us a test....it's probably as relevant as a box of matches on the moon.

But, I still have to take it seriously. Cause, even though it's just a midget compared to SPM, it still matter. Cause it will be in my report slip and most importantly, I'll get heavy bombardment from my parents if I don't do well.

Frankly I think it's pointless.Look, there's 118 more days till SPM and yet we are stuck with a test which WILL definitely not be looked-in when applying for college. They'll look at your "more-important-but-not-as-compared-to-SPM" trials in enrolling you in their college and thus, paying them your leg & hands for your tuition fees.

But, if God can still pay attention to a "petty" like me, shouldn't I be treating my test as the same too?I mean, I'll just one in a BILLION on earth, and yet he gave his only son Jesus to die for me cause I meant the whole world to him.In fact, I am ashamed for not only me, but for mankind. He gave it all(literally) for us to be in heaven and yet many people still reject him, some go as far as saying that the cruxification never happened. Sad.

So, I'll do my part and give my best to my test.Although it won't matter much, at least I "run the race" for him and see what there is in store for me.

5 Thoughts of the Week XIII

I hate polystrene when they are rubbed together. Hearing the screech gives me the bumps...

My test is starting tomorrow. Wish me all the best, I gotta do well!

"M@l_y$!_N Politicians Says the Darnest Things". Indeed, indeed....

I must confess that I really have no time to finish reading my James Bond novel "Devil May Cry". Argh, perhaps the holidays?

If I have to say one type of person I hate, that is those that is N.A.T.O. (No action, talk only).

Sentimentality

I found this great picture here. You know all the inspirational pictures with all the good attributes like "Determination", "Attentiveness" and with their one-liners. Someone did the same thing except he was inspired by the comic Calvin and Hobbes.

It does bring back some memories don't you think? I don't know about you, but I grew up reading Calvin and Hobbes. It may very well be the first comic strip I ever read and surely the best so far. When I was a kid, I like to read the comics because of all the elaborate expressions both the characters do and the overall drawing. Some of the scenes are magnificent such as my title header.

But as times goes by, I too grew up and I begin to laugh at the comic strips again; this time it isn't the drawings or caricature but the puns Bill Waterson often put in his strips.

I must have respect for Calvin cause he still keeps Hobbes around even though he has grown up to be an adult. And as you can see in the picture, Calvin lets his unnamed daughther to play with Hobbes and the daughter looks alot like Susie Derkins, Calvin's chilhood crush and I think we'll can safely say who's the mother...

Talking about the picture and the one-liner it comes with. Although not quite the "quote of the century", but you have to admit it makes sense(in a peculiar way).

When we were kids, we play with many toys and take it with us no matter where we go. I used to bring my toy cars, Thomas the tank engine or even my bears along when we travel somewhere else. It's basically our "ipod or Handphone" when we were young.

However, as we grow up and the hormones start kicking in. We longer play with those stuff, branding them as "childish" or something like that, but we do not know how much those things are valueble when we realized, they are gone.

I still have my childhood toys, but I donated some insignificant ones to Salvation Army. Only left are my bears, Hotwheels cars and Thomas the engine. Speaking about Thomas the tank engine, when I was in Changi Airport in Singapore, I found out that they are still selling it.....but those replica's are now made in metal! My collection was the original one's which were made out of wood. Now I know why my parents insist that I keep it even though I do not play with it.

Even my pyramix cube, which is a Rubik's cube but in a form of a triangle. I got it from A&W way,way back when I was still learning my A-B-C. Now, it's longer available and most importantly, I'm the only one in my school who has one. :D

So, go treasure-hunting,get back your old toys, clean it and keep it for your chilldren to play stuff you played as a kid.I'm sure it will be fullfilling experience(although I'm not married, let alone have a kid yet).
