CCC: Chin Peng>>> Communisn>>>Christ??

What am I thinking. How am I supposed to connect the dots altogether. Linking Chin Peng to Communism is alot more easier than failing your SPM. (Actually, with a blank paper, it's tempting to answer the paper, but hey, let's assume I'm stupid for that moment)

But from Communism to Chirst?? Here, on the former, it's known to be an radical ideology which believes there is no God. And on the latter, he's the "Way, the Truth and the Life"

Actually, it's possible. Let me start with Chin Peng. If many of you had actually look through the new(and boring) version History Textbook, he is one of the main leaders who help form Malayan Communist Party. He is also viewed as one of the guys who call the shots in killing people, destroy property and taking M&M's from babies.

(Communist's favourite pastime)

So anyway, as the apparently interesting and important (not if you decide to do at least something meaningful) story goes along, CMP got kicked in the butt as many times as Manchester United winning EPL and the rest is history. Literally. Chin Peng and his "brothers in arm" in the party were sidelined from development (which is still going on until today, albeit at an slower pace), they were forced to disband and consequently, Malaysia became.....Malaysia?

(Yeah...very Malaysian-like)

Anyway, communism 0, Democracy 1. So why does many people during that time embrace the Alliance's concept of democracy? It could very well be the fact that communism didn't take the right step in promoting communism properly. As you all knows, CMP was linked with several striker from workers, train crash, assaults on plantation by innocent farmers and many more cruel acts. They broke the first rule when it comes to promoting an ideology: Never, ever disrupt the lives of people even if you intent to give the same thing to them.

Democracy was also seen as a shining light during those bleak ages. The opportunity to have a say in the goverment, vote the people to represent you to voice out the needs of the people, education for all and most importantly the ability to govern the country independently. Actually, some of these aims were also part of the CMP's agenda, but they don't have a proper institution, and most importantly, the support of the British Empire.

(Malaysia: Meet my elder brother and my step-sister, the drag queen with the beard)

But, I believe the very ideology Communist is pushing for, ironically, might be their undoing. You see, communism is based of the concept of sharing. During the dawn of communism, they fought for a classes society where every human is equal. This is also further advocated with the sharing of property. They also envisioned for "a free society with no division or alienation, where mankind is free from oppression and scarcity."

Now where did I heard this from? Hmmm...yes, the most unlikeliest source of all.....

THE BIBLE!!!

If you all can refer to the book of Acts, the apostles of the Lord promoted sharing of property between the belivers. One fine example is Barnabas. He was a good man from Cyprus who sold all his property and gave ALL the profits to the poor. This can be said about the other believers, although they do not need to give away all the profits, they just need to tell the apostles the truth, something Annaias and Sapphira learned the hard way before their untimely death.

Infact, Jesis also strived for a kingdom where everyone is equal before God's eyes. And this is evident with the acceptance of Gentiles into the Kingdom of God. Now, they have all the privileges the Jews used to have with God. This is definitely good news for me and all my fellow friends who does not have a Father who looks like Elliot Yamin, or a brother like Adam Lambert!

(Frankly, I hate him. No more,no less)

So, why does Communism have the same concept with Christianity,to some extent, and yet fall into ruins just like the Berlin Wall which is well known to be a symbol of communist dictatorship?

I believe the answer is simple. They don't have Christ as the center of the household. If they don't have Christ as their leader, who are they serving?

It's money!! Money has always been the problem since people began to realize the barter system is obsolete. It is the "root of all evil" and Communism took a downturn after corruption tooks it's place in the communism hierarchy.

God also fixed the problem even before it got hold of the early church. When Annias and Sapphira tried to deceive the people into thinking they gave the whole lot for the poor, when they actually kept some of the profit, the Spirit came down on Peter and he condemned them to death.

See, I believe Communism is a decent concept ever conceived for the well-being of others. But because Christ was not in the center of communism, it will never flourish, and worse still, they will have a hard time hanging on to the very last thread of survival. And Yes, Democracy took over the world by storm and is viewed as alot of superior against Communism, but if they turn their backs away from Jesus Christ, I believe the Kingdom of God will come sooner than we allthought it would be.
