So,here I am...supposedly being "History-Makers" in the 1st ever COMBINED SCHOOL CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CAMP...in short CCC.The theme is "To Know Him and to make Him Known",which is a lot more better than the previous theme.I was the assistant to the camp photographer,Leng Kabian.Sometimes it's camera snapping or video shooting..so basically what I was doing is media recording..
The dorm I was assigned was Dorm A,and I can assure you it's the most fun!!(Too bad there's no award for it).We have our very own "Entertainer" a.k.a Po Guo Zhi.In the dorm we do lot's of things like joke around,play Blackjack,Po Guo Zhi doing his karaoke session(some of his songs are Smack That,SexyBack,Bleeding Love).If someone can help me convert the recorded file of his singing please help me!

My team is the Green Team(a.k.a. Slimy Frogs).Don't ask me how we get the name,because I really don't know!Anyone our leader is Toh Sher Lynn whom I met in a scrabble competition and Benedict,the "drummer" for PFS CF.Anyway one of the most fun part is that we get to perli Yan Min and Isaac for a sketch.I told them about a sketch from the scout 25th anniversary dinner.For those you seen the sketch you should know what I was talking about ;). I was the pastor for the sketch and well I had fun playing the part XD.Hopefully I get a video of my part,send it to an audition in Tinseltown and maybe be a superstar! Ok...I think it's about time I give a summary of the events on each day..
1st Day:
Ok,it's the first day(obviously..).I was kinda late..but arrived just on time for the 1st event..worship.I mean...everytime there's something there's bound to have a worship service.No complains on that..
After that we headed for the workshops.So our team's workshop of the day is guitar lessons.(pictures will be uploaded soon).The facilitator taught us some simple cords,but I did not bring a guitar since I'm not that interested.XD It's also here that we get to know our teammates a lot more better.
The games of the day I building a sand monument..but I wasn't there since I was in charge of recording...our team made a pyramid but surely the funniest is the yellow team(DIGI after the big fat yellow guy..)They placed a model and put sand all over him to make him look like a Digi man.(talk about God making Adam from the earth!)Again..more pictures soon to be uploaded..
After that was...our time to bathe..nothing much lah..then it was dinner time.Ok..to make it simple..all our meals from the 1st day till last day is basically home-cook food..like what your mother cook for you at home.So..after that was the sharing from Pastor Chai Bee(I think that's her name).She tells us about her experience before and when she accepted Christ.Her sharing was really fun!
At the dorm..our dorm mates joke around and we basically talk about everything..from school to shuffling...We also do our devotion during that time too.
2nd Day:
I'll skip to the sermon.His name is Wilson Ooi and according to some people he is a soon-to-be youth pastor in PCC(Penang Christian Center).Anyway he talked about Gideon..a nobody who became a somebody when he saved Israel from neighboring countries invasion.
After that was...workshops.Like yesterday we were doing photographing and video shooting.This time Kabian let me and Jonathan take over.I took the camera while Jonathan takes the video.My team's first workshop is studying the book of Daniel.I help my team for a while and our next workshop is truths about the mandarin words.This workshop is really quite interesting as Mrs Diane(Mr. Michael Choong's wife)taught us about Mandarin and also told us some interesting facts(Mandarin is the only ideogramic words in use today).

Next..we were doing games!!I was the video shooter and if you're wondering where's the video and pics...it will be uploaded okay?!!Anyway if I can recall the 1st thing they did was water passing.(It would be better if you see the video to know how to play.)
Next.. "taking-rubber-bands-from-a-bowl-of-flour-with-your-toohpick-in-your-mouth-and-pass-to-your-
teamate-opposite".Don't get it?View the video(since hasn't been uploaded yet..)
After that was Captain Ball!!Sorry cause the video camera ran out of battery and I can't take anymore shots..at least I get to play.However..Slimy Frogs lost all 2 games!!No comments here...But at least we did our best.:D
Then..I played a little bit of football with some friends...and Mr.Michael Choong!!!I can't belive it actually play soccer...let alone well!!He really knows how to dribble and his shots doesn't fly to mars that's for sure!

After the hoo-haa and when we wash up..it was masquerade night...although all the hype that surrounded the event was alot..it wasn't much.What we basically did was play a simple game...kinda stupid actually...cause how can we know another person's name when we don't really know,let alone wearing a mask!
Then it was time for a presentation from all the groups.I will tell you about ours only :D
This sketch is credited to 39 G.T(S) since they created it,we just add some Chirstian Values into it that's all..
So here it goes..(according to the sketch)
We introduced the antoganist,Ben Presly who is a famous superstar.The scene was there was a concert and he has a band.The girls all go crazy(even his soon-to-be wife).The song they played was "Can't Take My Eyes of You".They qctually performed it quite well for something impromptu.
After that,the good guy(John) told his best friend that he is a good friend of the girl(the soon-too be wife)named pearly.(How we get that name only god knows..)So..he invited her to chat in a kopitiam(pathetic i know =.=).There..he wanted to propose to her,then suddenly the pop star came out with his band and drive him out.He then take pearly back.
So...John prayed to god to have courage to get his love of his life back(I think..)and he did..
So,at the wedding..I was the pastor and well..you have a simple play of what a wedding would have happened.Even Pearly's "parents" have to excort her down the aisle.Then,I need to recite the marriage vow for them blah blahblah..altough Ben Presly was really in a hurry so I skipped alot(according to the script).Then when he was about to kiss the girl...John suddenly came out and say NOOOOO!!!!and push ben away.There,he exposed that Ben married Pearly because of money.The parents were very angry and kinda toss him away...so..how pearly has a new husband I need to recite the thing all over again...=.=
After that I was needed to stop them from kiss since there "were kids there who don't understand what is happening".So here's what I said(if I still remember..)
"Okay,I know you all really want to see the kiss scene,but there are many little children here that still don't understand what's happening.Okay,here's what I want you to do,when you go back to your home,go to YouTube,type in the link.You can get the link from the lovely couple over there(Pearly & John).
After you have the link..please see the video without your parents knowing alright?I don't you to get into trouble.But if your parents find out,PLEASE DON'T SAY THAT YOU GOT THE LINK FROM ME!"The last I need is a lecture from 80 people's parents!!(doing the begging pose)"
So here's the moral of the story..
1.Good people will triumph over evil..
2.You must ask guidance from god for you partner in life..since she/he will spend the rest of your life till death.
3.For those parents who have sons and daughters who will marry soon,let's them have say..prearranged marriage don't always go well.

It's the last day of the camp.So the 1st main event of the day was another sermon from Wilson Ooi.This time he talked about Mary(mother of Jesus).Basicallly the sermon was about how we may accept God's calling..it's doesn't mean it will be a highway all the long.There will be bumps and hiccups along the way,some may be serious.But if we finish the race we will be rewarded :D
The workshop started soon enough..but before that was a camp photo.The picture is will be uploaded once I get it.:D
Our team's workshop is defending the word of god.I certainly learned alot of things..although it RAINED HEAVILY!!
