Best of 2008
Today is the 1st day of school. Also the last year of my schooling in SMK Hamid Khan(class of 2009) and with that I might as well compiled a list of the best thing that happened to me in 2008.
1.Getting my new(& first!) handphone.
Finally,after much persuasion and hardwork, I finally get a Handphone!I got myself a Motorola W510 and it is quite good actually.No complains there,although I did sent it to repair twice.(One was for a spoiled speaker and another was virus that made my handphone programme screwed up)
2.CF Camp
This is probably one of the best camp I ever went.I had a very amazing experience, meeting new friends,enjoying myself and having a good,heck maybe THE BEST* time with God over there!
*Better than what I do in church?Maybe.hmm.....
3.K.L. trip for the scrabble nationals.
This is techically my first trip overnight outside of Penang without my parents and without any relatives with me! My friends Jonathan & Kabian along with Cik Furziah(who willingly accompanied us to the competition).We also had fun meeting new friends and old friends.We were even able to hang out with Qian Wen and her gang in Berjaya Times Square.Sure, we never won anything from the nationals,but spending time with far-distance friends is more than enough to compensate out disatrous outing.. ;P
4.Scouting
I was elected the A.T.L. secretary of our school's scout troop 2009.The committee had a great time as we went through the sweet and sour together.Also thank god that we have a wonderful troop leader Saik Ian.He was always ready and a good example of a leader.
5. BSF!!!
Yes!!!The greatest gift God gave me for the whole year.I was able to rejoin BSF after 3 years of absence and I met alot of great friends there! We had a great time over there studying the Bible and having fun along the way.Heck,some of the leaders there said that our class is the WACKIEST of all the classes EVER!!
6.Shen Zhen > Macau > Hong Kong
Just made a post about the trip.It was our family's 1st major trip in 2 years.Had a great time there and learned many new experience and looking at how modern the places is compared to Malaysia.(Belive it,Shen Zhen has better facilities...don't? Pay yourself a trip there)
7.Training Camp II 2008
Yes! The final camp of the year for the scouts.We were the committee and worked hard to ensure a sucessful camp.I even meet new friends from different schools and at the same time meet back old friends!
I'll do a post about it soon enough.
